Fall 2019 Projects

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
These research projects were undertaken by M.A. graduate students enrolled in a research seminar in the Federated History Department of the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers-Newark. The seminar was titled History 600: Environmental Justice in Postwar America, and focused on environmental inequality in the post-World War II United States.

For this class each student chose a site where environmental inequality and injustice took place, and then conducted research on that site and wrote a final paper on the site.
